General Description
CISC RFID MeETS is a NI-PXI™ and LabVIEW™ based RFID measurement solution. The customizable functionalities offer the user unique possibilities to enter the RFID world.
The tool guarantees a fully automatic evaluation of the identification performance and properties of RFID tags, even when attached on product packaging. The system provides measurement techniques for tests of the relevant ISO and EPCglobal™ standards. Since the physical behavior of RFID tags are difficult to explore, the CISC RFID MEETS offers for the first time accurate verification, detailed analysis and valuable reporting out of the measurement results. Furthermore the CISC RFID MeETS helps to characterize precisely the physical and spatial behavior of tags. On the basis of the measurement results the optimal physical tag construction and ideal positioning on the relevant object can be identified. During the measurement cycle the user is able to supervise graphically the tag response quality. The reliability and repetitious accuracy is provided by the elimination of any external influences and adaptive compensation of internal HW attenuation. Due to the possible combination of the direction and frequency sweep the measurement time is optimized. Consequently, the CISC RFID MeETS measures under which physical conditions the RFID tag starts responding. It focuses on real time communication and supports dynamic interaction with the user, but also allows fully automated measurements without interaction.
The definable orientation of the RFID tag is set by the user. This ensures having the same conditions for all relevant measurements. The CISC RFID MeETS provides tag performance tests for all frequency ranges (LF, HF, UHF) and various power levels.
