Yesterday a group of IT elites from America and Hong Kong met at Fu Shan RFID symposium to contribute their ideas to the development of RFID industry in Fu Shan city, Guang Dong Province. It said Fu Shan will try to found an important RFID base in 2010. On the meeting the officials disclaimed that, as an effort to drive the advancement of RFID industry the government will support and aid 30 companies from Gong Dong Province and Hong Kong to become pioneers in RFID application.
This is another RFID festival after the first RFID industry base opened in Fu Shan city 3 months ago. Hong Kong Savantas Policy Institute and other organizations held a deep investigation into investment environment of Fu Shan city, and many companies expressed their interests in cooperation with Fu Shan RFID base.

According the development blueprint, Fu Shan will establish a RFID application base, a demonstration center, an integrate industry chain, a monitoring center and a RFID network platform in next five years, and develop the capability to manufacture and convert 1 billion RFID label per year. Fu Shan will also become the communication and cooperation outlet between Guang Dong Province and other areas, which will provide infinite business opportunities for company from China and oversea.
Fu Shan has listed RFID as a key industry to develop, the official from Fu Shan Trade and Economic Bureau said. In order to make this new emerging industry take root in Fu Shan as soon as possible, the government allocated 666,660 square meters of land and raised funds to support RFID projects and RFID companies.
At the same time, a serial of activities are initiating to invite investments and attract the RFID companies and RFID research and development centers in the neighborhood.
